FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

When will my pre-order ship?

Pre-orders ship in about 8–10 weeks. You’ll get an email the moment yours is on the way, and updates along the way — no radio silence.

What’s the difference between Night Game and Day Game?

Night Game is the amber evening lens — worn the hour or two before lights-out to block the blue glow screens give off. Day Game is a lighter, near-clear daytime lens for school, screens and gaming. The Doubleheader bundle gets you both.

Where does blue light actually come from?

More places than you’d think. Phones, tablets and the TV are obvious, but the LED and fluorescent bulbs overhead, a parent’s phone or Apple Watch at story time, the little indicator lights on chargers and routers (glowing even when things are “off”), and LED streetlights through the window all throw blue light into the evening — and a lot of it flickers. That’s why we focus on protecting the hour before lights-out. See how it works, or get the routine on the Sleep Playbook.

What size are these?

One size — 130 mm frame width, or 47-17-130 in standard eyewear numbers. It fits most kids, roughly ages 5–12. A flexible frame, grippy temples and the included retainer strap do the work across that range. Not sure? Compare our numbers to a pair your kid already owns (they’re printed inside the temple arm), and remember returns are free. Full details on the Sizing & Fit page.

Why only one size?

Kids’ head width changes less than people expect between 5 and 12, so one well-chosen size covers most of that range. It’s simpler for you at checkout — and if we called it wrong for your kid, returns are free.

Are these prescription glasses?

No — Night Game is non-prescription blue-light eyewear. The lenses filter light; they don’t correct vision. If your child wears prescription glasses, wear Night Game as a separate evening pair.

How much blue light do they block?

Instead of a vague “blocks X%,” we verify the amber evening lens with a third-party spectrophotometer report measured in nanometer increments — documented filtering, not marketing. The amber lens is tuned for the evening; the lighter Day Game lens does gentler daytime filtering.

Do you ship internationally?

For the pre-order we’re shipping within the United States. Outside the US and want a pair? Join the reserve list — we’ll email international buyers the moment we open up shipping.

Is this safe for my kid?

They’re everyday eyewear — polycarbonate lenses, UV400, impact-resistant, built toward children’s-eyewear safety standards. They’re a recovery accessory, not a medical device, and we make no health claims. Questions about your child’s sleep or vision? Your pediatrician is the right call.

What if we don’t love them — or they don’t fit?

You’ve got 30 nights, and returns are free — we cover return shipping. If they’re not a hit, we’ll refund you. See Shipping & Returns.
